Bradley Tariq Bahab (born April 11, 1991) is a Canadian-Guyanese singer, songwriter, dancer, and music producer. Born in Kitchener, Ontario, he was heavily influenced by family members with musical talents and was involved in several local talent shows from a young age. Having signed with Ripe Records in 2012, Tariq released his first single. The following year Tariq decided to pursue his college education thus acquiring his Advanced Diploma in Computer Programming.
While in his last year of college, Tariq made his first big bang with his comeback single, “Felt So Good”. Paying tribute to his Guyanese community, he followed up with his first music video for “Felt So Good” that started gaining him much more recognition than recent times.

Tariq taught himself how to sing at a young age and often cites Usher, Chris Brown, Trey Songz, NeYo, Mario, T-Pain, and Sean Paul as his inspirations. Both of his grandfathers and his father loved to sing which in turn was soaked up by young Tariq. Tariq stated himself, “when I was just 4 years old, I asked my mom if I could be a singer when I grew up. She replied, ‘you can be anything you want’. Shortly after that, I stood in front of the hallway mirror, sang 3 words and hit my first 3 notes, what you would call a ‘riff’. I was so excited I ran back to my mom to tell her the great news! That’s when it all started”. When Tariq was 12, his uncle gave him his first piano keyboard. He practiced day and night to learn his favourites pieces from “All my life” by KC and JoJo, “Survivor” by Destiny’s Child, “So Sick” by NeYo, and “If I ain’t got you” by Alicia Keys. This is where Tariq developed his production skills.

Tariq cited a number of artists as his inspirations, predominantly Chris Brown. Tariq emphasizes, "Chris Brown has been my greatest influence in music and why I have evolved so much with music." Many people have stressed that following in his footsteps would not set him apart on the music industry but Tariq has something else to bring to the table: his Caribbean culture. Tariq states, "Yes RnB is my first love in music but my root has grown from reggae, dancehall, soca, and chutney which is a Guyanese and Trini genre. Everyone has a musical idol they learn from and thankfully I have a culture and persona that sets me apart from most artists."
